FURNITURE INSTALLER 

 An installer is able to perform systems furniture installations for an assigned project or service route.  This installer is able to work efficiently from blueprints, layouts, drawings, and floor plans per detailed customer specifications with minimal supervision.  This installer has may have carpentry experience and is capable of building desks, workstations, files, chairs, and other products from a variety of manufacturers.  This installer knows how to correct unsafe working conditions, or alert management to issues that arise on sites.  This installer is also capable of supervising other team members, as well as interfacing directly with clients and promoting overall business development agenda. 

ALL INSTALLERS REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience as an installer

  • Must be able to work flexible hours/start times, including working some nights & weekends, with opportunity to travel 10% of the time

  • Must be able to provide own set of basic tools

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize installation and punch list repairs

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

  • Attention to detail

  • Communicate with customers who have inquiries about their product - Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Ability to frequently move product & equipment weighing up to 50 pounds through warehouse and loading dock areas into finished customer space

  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for long periods of time while riding in company vehicles

  • Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service finished goods

  • Must be able to detect obstacles from long distances, while driving or onsite

  • Ability to constantly work in or around construction site conditions

  • Ability to constantly work in variable temperature situations, both inside and outdoors
